Columbia, SC (WOLO) — A Democratic candidate for state senate picked up a major endorsement today.

Dick Harpootlian announced he has the support of former Vice President Joe Biden.

Harpootlian is seeking the Democratic nomination in the Special Election race for District 20 in Richland County.
Harpootlian faces Kyle Lacio and Dayna Smith in the August 14th Democratic Primary.
