Sumter gets season opening win against Rock Hill

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) – Sumter kicked off its season against Rock Hill Friday Night.

The Fighting Gamecocks started the game off with a 90-yard touchdown pass and never looked back, as they defeated the Bearcats 33-23.

Sumter will look to start the season 2-0 as they host their rivals, the Crestwood Knights, next week.
