Florida electric company offering SC assistance in recovery efforts

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Workers from Duke Energy in Florida are gearing up to assist with recovery efforts in the Carolina’s.

Workers are prepared to pick up wire, replace poles, and whatever else is needed in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.

Crews are prepared to work 16 hour days. Much like they did last year for Hurricane Irma.
