Historical flooding “never seen before” could take weeks to drain

CHERAW, SC (WOLO) – Thousands of acres are flooded around the Pee Dee River. As of 6 p.m. Monday (9/17), the water had risen 3 feet since 11 a.m.

It will take weeks to drain according to the Chesterfield County Sheriff.
