Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – It was a battle of two .500 teams in Cayce as Brookland-Cayce hosted Newberry Friday night.

After a highly-competitive first half, the Bearcats pulled away in the second for a 56-35 victory.

Brookland-Cayce (3-2) will travel to South Aiken next week, while Newberry (2-3) hosts Woodruff.
