Blythewood smashes Beaufort, 42-6

After an unexpected week off, the Blythewood Bengals (4-1) knocked the rust off early in a non-region victory over the visiting Beaufort Eagles (3-2) 42-6. Brandon Edwards rushed for 182 yards and three touchdowns to pace the Bengal offense. Jaylon Boyd added two touchdowns and King Ford connected with Kevon Catoe for the other score. Nic Rogers paced the defense with 8 tackles, including 3 sacks for a loss of 21 yards.

Blythewood will have an open date next week before beginning region play against Irmo on October 5.
