Plane crashes in Beaufort during military exercise

Beaufort, S.C. (WOLO) – A plane crashed during a military training exercise in Beaufort on Friday.

The U.S. Marine Pilot safely ejected from the F-35 aircraft before it crashed in Beaufort. The pilot is being evaluated by medical personnel, but no one was injured during the incident.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
