8 Foot alligator crawls into flooded dog park

Conway, SC (WOLO) — Talk about an unwanted guest, check out this eight-foot alligator that crashed a flooded dog-park in Conway.
the dog park is still under about three-feet of water.

Police called the Department of National Resources to let them know about the gator. An officer said they opened the gates to give the alligator a way out.

They’re hoping it will leave and head back to the Waccamaw River on its own before the water drains completely .
