SC Pride Festival kicks off

Columbia, SC (WOLO) —- The Capital City has a lot of SC Pride and we could see the crowds gathering along Main street downtown to show just how much.

The Famously Hot South Carolina Pride festival kicked off Friday night on Main street.This marks the festival’s 29th celebration.

Friday night’s festival held its Get Lit night parade and concert to celebrate the LGBTQ community.

If you didn’t get the chance to enjoy the festivities Friday you can head downtown Saturday. The festival will resume on Main street tomorrow from noon till 9 p-m.
