Columbia man arrested for murder after shooting incident on Norman St

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – A man, who police say claimed a woman he lived with was killed during a home invasion, has been arrested for murder.

Michael Griffin was taken into custody for the deadly shooting Saturday morning on Norman Street near Columbia College.

Twenty-five-year old Jerri Sigmon died gunshot wound to the head. Griffin and Sigmon were living together at the time of the shooting.
