$5.5 million arts and science center announced at Ben Lippen

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – A midlands school announced a major expansion Monday (10/29) morning.

Ben Lippen held a ground breaking ceremony for its new Center for the Arts and Sciences.

School officials say the first phase of the $5.5 million dollar project includes expanding opportunities in chemistry, robotics, and visual arts.

That’s also not the only construction happening on the campus.

A new track and global business center are nearing completion.
