Fallen officers honored at State House memorial

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – On Thursday night, officers who lost their lives in the line of duty were honored at the State House.

The South Carolina Fraternal Order of State Police and families of fallen officers gathered to lay wreaths and light candles to remember the sacrifice they made to keep others safe.

Officers who lost their lives in the line of duty this year will have their names added to the state memorial in next year’s service.
