North Carolina (AP) — Our neighbors to the North are okay with Dominion taking over SCE&G’s troubled parent company SCANA.

The North Carolina Utilities Commission has approved the proposed merger, but it’s not a done deal just yet.
The North Carolina Commission is one of seven agencies required to approve the merger.
