One person hospitalized after home fire in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Firefighters say one person was taken to the hospital after a house fire in Lexington County.

Officials say it happened at a home on Water Ferry Road near Gilbert.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation. The fire caused an estimated 30 thousand dollars in damage, the cause remains under investigation.
