Survey says: SC is the worst state for elderly care

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina is the worst state in the nation when it comes to taking care of our seniors.

According to a survey published by Wallethub.com, South Carolina ranks last in elder-abuse protections. The survey was based on criteria such as elder-abuse or negligence complaints, money spent preventing elder abuse, and the number of eldercare organizations.
