COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – An inmate at Broad River Correctional Institution was found dead on Sunday.

Correction officials say Isaac Starke, 52, was found unresponsive inside his cell.

Starke was sentenced to 15 years in prison for Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor.

Multiple agencies are investigating his death, including SLED.

The cause of death has not been released.
