Columbia Fire Department celebrating 116 years

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Happy Birthday to the Columbia Fire Department.
The department was founded on this day back in 1903 making it 116 years old.
According to its website, the Columbia Fire Department is the largest in the state and protects more than 500 thousand citizens of Columbia and Richland County.
