Fireflies to Host National Anthem Auditions for the 2019 Season

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Columbia Fireflies are seeking talented soloists and groups to perform the National Anthem at the Fireflies home games for the 2019 season.

National anthem auditions are being held at Segra Park on Saturday, February 23 and on Monday, March 4.

Opening night is Thursday, April 4 at 7:05 p.m.

All interested parties should contact the Fireflies to schedule an audition time. Auditions will be appointment only.

Singers, instrumentalists and groups are all invited to audition. Those who have sung the National Anthem at the ballpark in previous seasons must audition again.

Not every performer who auditions will earn a spot to perform before a game. There are 70 home games scheduled between April and August.

Performers who are selected will receive four (4) complimentary tickets to the game for the night of their scheduled performance at Segra Park.
