Residents report strange odor in NE Richland Co.

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)–  Some folks in Northeast Richland County awoke to a strange odor Tuesday morning.

The Columbia Fire Department says they received several calls.
A spokesperson for the department says with the wind blowing the way it was Tuesday morning, it was likely the odor from nearby landfills.
