6th tornado confirmed during damaging March 3rd storms

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – NWS officials have confirmed a sixth tornado touched down in the Midlands earlier this month.

The service says surveys at Fort Jackson found damage consistent with an EF-1 tornado.

Several tornadoes and strong winds uprooted trees and damaged houses throughout the midlands on March 3.
