Update: Toddler prompting AMBER Alert found; father is arrested

Jackson Co., GA (WJCL/WSB-TV) – The Arcade PD has canceled an AMBER alert that was issue Thursday morning for a missing toddler and her father has been arrested.

According to WSB-TV, Baylee Peeples, 1, was found safely Thursday afternoon at a family member’s house.

According to the AMBER Alert that was sent out Thursday, March 28, Baylee was abducted by her father, 39-year-old Robert Joseph Peeples.

Just after 2 Thursday afternoon the police department says Peeples dropped Baylee off at a family member’s home in Gwinnett County.

Investigators say Peeples got into an argument with Baylee’s mother, then hit her with his car and drove off with Baylee inside.

According to WSB-TV, Peeples was later arrested and is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail.
