Police:Deadly shooting at Columbia apartment complex

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- Columbia police are investigating a deadly apartment shooting.

The incident happened Saturday after 7:00p.m. in the 7600 block of Garners Ferry Road at te Lakeshore Village apartments.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has identified the victim as Stacy Windell Rhodes, 29, of Hopkins.

An autopsy indicated that the cause of death was due to gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Police say the man died t the hospital.

Officers believe the shooting was an isolated incident that may have stemmed from an argument between the victim and suspect.

No arrest have been made yet.
