South Carolina veterans get executive level representation with ceremonial bill

Columbia, SC (WOLO) —Veterans officially have representation on the executive level in South Carolina.
Tuesday morning Governor Henry McMaster, and Lieutenant Governor
Pamela Evette held a ceremonial bill signing for the legislation creating the South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs.
Leaders say elevating the profile of the VA shows the state cares about veterans.
