SC officials begin specialized training to prevent school violence and assess threats

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Leaders are working to make sure schools in South Carolina are safe.

This morning, State law enforcement and school officials began specialized training with the “Secret Service’s National Threat Assessment Center.”

The training will focus on the prevention of targeted school violence, as well as threat assessment.
