Church burglary under investigation where thieves stole church’s van and more

Bethune, S.C. (WOLO) — On Tuesday night, thieves loaded up the Bethune Baptist Church’s van with everything they stole and still left more wreckage on their way out, according to investigators.

The top of the church’s van likely has significant damage to it when it hit the church’s awning on the way out. Thieves managed to get away with TV’s, projectors and sound equipment.

Bethune Baptist pastor says he doesn’t think the thieves would still be driving it around, but they hope someone saw something and will call the police.
