CDC says drug overdoses have lead to a drop in life expectancy

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — The Centers for Disease Control says drug overdoses have caused the life expectancy of the average American to drop.

Between 2016 and 2017 the average American life span dropped to 78 and a half years.
During the past year 70 thousand Americans died from drug overdoses.
