Gun stocks on the rise after weekend of mass shootings

(CNN) – Gun stocks are on the rise following the two weekend mass shooting attacks in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.

The stocks of publicly traded guns jumped Monday after calls for stricter gun laws rang out across the country.

Investors think the prospect of stricter gun laws will lead people to rush out and buy more weapons and ammunition ahead of such regulations.
