Number of South Carolinians working continues to grow

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The number of working South Carolinians continues to go up.

According to the states Department of Employment and Workforce more than 7- thousand jobs were added in the month of August bringing the states unemployment rate down to 3.2 % percent.

The national unemployment rate remains unchanged at 3.7% percent.
