COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Fire Department officials say they’re investigating a series of fires overnight in the Old Shandon neighborhood.
Authorities say one fire happened around 4 a.m. Thursday on the 3200 block of Heyward Street, where part of the outside of the home was on fire as well as two vehicles.
Officials also say another fire in a trash can happened on the same block as the house fire.
According to investigators, they also responded to a boat cover on fire this morning at a home near the 3500 block of Heyward Street and South Bonham Road.
Firefighters say another fire on the bed of a truck happened on the 3200 block of Cannon Street this morning.
Officials say all fires are contained and there have been no reports of any injuries.
CFD and Columbia Police are investigating the cause of all fires.
