Elite hackers find security ‘vulnerabilities’ with voting machines around the country

(CNN ) — For the third straight year, elite hackers have released a report detailing vulnerabilities in voting machines used across the country.

Each year thousands of hackers are invited to the def con voting village to see what holes they can find in the country’s voting equipment to evaluate election security.

The report states each of the 100 machines examined were all vulnerable to some kind of hack. Oregon Senator Ron Wyden, who is an outspoken advocate of election security said the report was so important he intended to send a copy to every member of the senate.
