Tennessee murder suspect arrested in Sumter

Sumter, Co. (WOLO)–  Sumter Co. deputies say a man who tried to avoid a license checkpoint was wanted for murder in Tennessee.
Investigators say on Monday Rasheen Greenwood drove through a home’s lawn to avoid the checkpoint on Avenue-A in Mayesville.
Deputies say he was arrested after a short chase and they determined he was wanted for murder.
He is now awaiting extradition to Tennessee.
