Fire Department using UV technology to decontaminate masks

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–First responders are working to make sure they have enough personal protective equipment for themselves so they can continue to help others
Thursday the Columbia Fire Department showed how they use ultraviolet light to decontaminate and maximize the life of medical equipment such as masks.

The department says they can  decontaminate approximately 150 masks an hour.
