Victim identified after vehicle overturned on Weston Road in Richland

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Coroner’s Office has identified a victim after a vehicle overturned on Wednesday.

Coroner Gary Watts says Grace Page, 20, died on Weston Road and Clarkson Road from blunt force trauma to her head.

Authorities say it happened after 12:30 p.m.

According to investigators, Page was a passenger in the driver’s SUV, which ran off the road, causing the driver to over-correct.

Highway Patrol says the vehicle then went off the road again and overturned.

Officials say Page and the driver were both ejected from the vehicle.

Authorities say the driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Richland County Coroner’s Office and Highway Patrol are investigating.
