Arrest made in deadly afternoon shooting at Columbia apartment complex

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Columbia Police arrested a suspect in a deadly afternoon shooting at an apartment complex Tuesday.

Leona Toatley, 19, was arrested and will face a murder charge in the domestic shooting death of a male acquaintance.

Police responded to the Gable Oaks Apartments on Colleton Street.

Police say they plan to release more information Wednesday.
