Volunteers inform the public about railroad safety in the Midlands

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– This week, volunteers will be handing out information about train safety at crossings in the Midlands.

According to Operation Lifesaver, people often drive under the cross arms or other safety devices trying to beat trains, a dangerous behavior.
