Agency led by former SC governor wins Nobel Peace Prize

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– This year’s Nobel Peace Prize is being awarded to the United Nation’s ‘World Food Programme.’ The agency is led by former South Carolina Governor David Beasley.

The ‘World Food Programme’ is the world’s largest humanitarian organization addressing hunger and promoting food security.
