U.S. nursing homes hit new peak in coronavirus cases

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Nursing homes in the United States have hit another peak when it comes to coronavirus cases. The facilities have reported their highest weekly new confirmed cases since the spring.

Officials looked at a two month period beginning in mid-September. They found there was a 177% rise in new weekly nursing home cases nationwide. They also saw a rise in coronavirus deaths in nursing homes.
