President Trump awards Medal of Freedom to former Olympic wrestler Dan Gable

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– President Trump awarded another Medal of Freedom at the White House Monday afternoon, to former wrestler and coach Dan Gable. A statement from the White House called Gable “one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.”

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian honor given to people who’ve made important contributions from everything from national security to sports.
