Claflin University receives $20 million donation from MacKenzie Scott

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Claflin University received a sizable donation Wednesday. The university says it received a $20 million investment from philanthropist and writer MacKenzie Scott. Officials say it is the largest gift in the more than 150 year history of the historically black university.
