Columbia Animal Shelter reminds you to be mindful of your pets during New Year’s Eve fireworks

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– During all the fun on New Year’s Eve, don’t forget about your pets during those fireworks. According to the Columbia Animal Shelter, the loud noise from fireworks can spook your four-legged friends.

They suggest keeping them inside and giving them a safe place to hide as displays are taking place.
