Clemson men’s basketball pauses team activites, postpones UNC game
CLEMSON, S.C. — The hottest start in recent memory for the Clemson men’s basketball team has been put on hold.
Today the ACC announced that the Tigers’ upcoming games at North Carolina and Syracuse have been postponed due to a positive test and subsequent quarantining within the program.
The Tigers are 9-1 to start the season and were prepared to travel to Chapel Hill as a ranked team facing an unranked Tar Heels squad for the first time in history.
Tuesday’s game at Syracuse has also been postponed, the next game on the schedule for Clemson is set for Jan. 16 at home against Virginia.
