No violence or arrests made during “Freedom of Speech” rally outside the State House Sunday

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Officials say there was no violence or arrests during a protest at the State House on Sunday. A group of peaceful protesters joined outside the State House for a “Freedom of Speech” rally.

This comes in light of several social media platforms banning President Donald Trump, after the recent storming of the Capitol. Many protesters we spoke with say they feel people are misinterpreting who they are and they wanted to share their message.

Several protesters say they traveled from out of state for the protest.
