Incoming CDC director predicts “dark weeks ahead” in the COVID-19 pandemic

CNN– The incoming director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the United States has “dark weeks ahead” with the COVID-19 pandemic. She predicts the country’s death toll could reach 500,000 by the middle of next month.
