House Vaccine Advisory Committee discusses vaccine distribution in the state
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– State lawmakers are looking at ways to improve how the COVID-19 vaccine is distributed in South Carolina. Thursday, the House Vaccine Advisory Committee met, and their goal is to advise the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control on vaccine phases and who should be included in each phase.
The committee includes lawmakers and organizations representing every facet of the state’s diverse population.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, South Carolina is the worst in the country in its distribution of the vaccination.
