Sumter County deputies looking for missing man from the Lowcountry

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Deputies with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office say they are looking for a missing man from Moncks Corner. Deputies say 36-year-old Michael McKelvey was last seen on Cherryvale Drive in Sumter County on January 2.

McKelvey is described as a Black man with brown eyes, black hair, is 5’7″ tall and weighs approximately 125 lbs. Authorities say McKelvey was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, a black coat with a red trim, red sneakers and a black skull cap. Deputies say McKelvey does not have a vehicle with him.
