Health officials say the COVID-19 vaccine appears to be safe for pregnant women

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Dr. Anthony Fauci says the COVID-19 vaccine appears to be safe for pregnant women. After about 20,000 moms-to-be have gotten their shots, and he says there have been no red flags across the board.

The National Institutes of Health saying they want more pregnant and breastfeeding woman involved with vaccine trials, to “help learn how to protect them better.”
