CPD: 77-year-old charged with attempted murder following shooting incident on Hughes Street

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Columbia Police Department says a 77-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that took place Thursday on Hughes Street. Police say Louis Vanmansart has been charged with attempted murder.

Officials say the shooting occurred after an argument with a male. Authorities say the victim is currently in stable condition.
