1,389 new cases, 56 deaths Sunday in SC

COLUMBIA (WOLO): The Department of Health and Environmental Control Sunday reported 1,389 new cases of COVID-19 in South Carolina.
56 new deaths were also reported.

South Carolina now has a total of 436,161 cases diagnosed since the pandemic began, and 7,409 total deaths.

DHEC reported 6.2% of the 36,030 most recent coronavirus tests taken came back positive.
