House to vote on President Biden’s COVID relief bill

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– President Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill will go before the full House for a vote. The House Budget Committee voted to advance the legislation Monday.

The package includes $1,400 checks to Americans making less than $75,000 a year, an increase in the child tax credit, aide to small businesses, more money for vaccine distribution and direct funding to state and local governments. The bill could go to the House floor for a vote later this week.
