DHEC reveals more details about the state’s plan to move to phase 1b of vaccine administration

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is releasing more details about their vaccination plans as the state enters phase 1b. DHEC says appointments cannot be scheduled until March 8. They add that you will need to show your birth date and meet the eligibility requirements, including ages 55 and up, people with certain high-risk medical conditions, along with frontline workers like teachers.
